With more than 25 years of heavy civil construction experience, Mark has proudly led Tri-Star Construction as the company owner since 2004. Originally starting with the company as a general superintendent in 1998, Mark has led and grown Tri-Star through countless successful projects and earned the company a spot on the list of Tulsa’s 40 fastest growing companies not once but twice.
A widely respected construction expert, Mark has served as the 2013 Chairman of the Board for Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) and chaired multiple ABC committees throughout his career. He was also awarded the 2017 Allen Couch Memorial Award and was asked to serve on the 2018 SBE Mayoral Task Force.
POSITION: SAFETY DIRECTOR
Tri-Star’s safety director Steve Robledo started at Tri-Star as a laborer on the utility crew 7 years ago. In that time, he learned hands-on how to complete a job safely while keeping risk low. In the past two years, he has focused his efforts into the safety aspect of construction. He completed the OSHA 500 course at University of Texas in Arlington to become a certified trainer for the OSHA 10 hour and 30 hour programs. He is currently working toward becoming a Specialist in Safety and Health (SSH) through UTA, and he is CPR training certified through the Health and Safety Institute.
Position: Senior Project Manager
Shaun brings more than eight years of heavy civil construction management experience. He currently serves as a project and business development manager, responsible for managing on-going construction projects, developing relationships with potential clients, and estimating future work. His daily tasks include estimating, cost forecasting, job planning, client relations, safety, quality, and daily operations of infrastructure projects. Shaun’s combination of field and office experience has allowed him to develop a thorough understanding of client needs and compliance standards.
